Since you returned, I've wondered if you've forgotten. You can lay that burden down with me. You don't have to pretend.
Do you remember when you said we were both "lowly trash"?
Whatever happened to you while you were away, we'll always be the same. Not in every way. I don't believe that anymore.
In that way, though, we are. You aren't alone anymore. You don't have to be anything.
